News release

HKR has launched a new brand identity and website, signalling a bold new chapter for the international practice as it accelerates its impact across the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.

With over 30 years shaping skylines from London to Riyadh, Dubai to Dublin, HKR has long been recognised for delivering high-performance, design-led solutions that merge creativity, technology and precision engineering.

Today, with established offices in the UK, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, HKR is stepping forward with a redefined brand that reflects its evolution into a strategic global partner, transforming how cities are designed, built, and lived in.

This refreshed identity underscores HKR’s three core pillars:

  • Human-centric design
  • Digital innovation
  • Industrialised, future-ready delivery

HKR’s track record includes headquarters for Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon and Aviva, as well as over 70,000 residential units delivered globally over the past decade. The practice’s founding principle remains at the heart of its work: “service through good design while driving value for money.”

This approach is gaining increasing relevance across rapidly developing markets such as the GCC, where cost certainty, quality delivery and high-performance design are essential to achieving national development goals. HKR’s blend of design intelligence and hands-on leadership has positioned the practice as a trusted partner in delivering workplace-led, residential-led and mixed-use projects that balance vision with viability.

This rebrand is more than a new visual identity. It’s a clear statement of who we are today and where we’re going. Over the past decade, HKR has evolved into a truly global, digital-driven practice, combining human-centric design with industrialised delivery to help clients achieve certainty, quality and long-term value at scale. Our new brand reflects the confidence, capability and ambition of our people across the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.

Managing Director

A pivotal moment in HKR’s evolution came during the pandemic, when the practice invested heavily in digital transformation. The result is HKR’s proprietary digital platform, a real-time, single-source-of-truth system that integrates data across designers, cost consultants, programme managers and contractors.

With early-warning indicators and intelligent dashboards, the platform enables unparalleled cost and programme certainty. It transforms data into foresight, embedding transparency and accountability into every phase of delivery across international project teams.

HKR is a leader in Industrialised Design and Construction, utilising interoperable, home-grown apps that streamline design-for-manufacture-and-assembly, allowing contractors to use design outputs directly without the need for extensive shop drawings.

This approach delivered the world’s largest modular housing project at NEOM, 9,000 homes with a 25% reduction in construction budget, setting new industry benchmarks.

Following this success, HKR was appointed by NEOM as a specialist advisor on six complex mixed-use projects, demonstrating the studio’s ability to drive efficiency and elevate quality at scale.

Industrialised Design isn’t about compromise. It’s about smarter, scalable systems that protect design integrity while accelerating delivery and reducing cost.
