Docklands Tower

Dublin, Ireland

HKR’s conceptual design for this site comprises a 50 storey mixed use tower above a new railway station and two basement levels.

Over the last decade the Dublin Docklands area has undergone a major redevelopment and many high quality schemes have transformed the area from derelict industrial sites to modern urban quarters.

This proposal examined the options of locating a tower beside the main railway line through Dublin, in order to create a more sustainable form of development. It challenged opinions of high rise development in the city.
