A redevelopment plan around a Grade II Listed Station building, providing 348 affordable homes.
The proposal retains the Grade II Listed Station building on Bath Road and demolishes the rear ancillary structures. It includes improvements to station walkways and the redevelopment of the car park into four new buildings. These will provide 348 affordable homes, with 62% or London Affordable Rent and 38% for Shared Ownership, including a mix of 1- to 4-bedroom apartments, 10% of which will be wheelchair accessible.
The development also features flexible non-residential spaces (retail, restaurant/café, or community uses), a new public realm, landscape improvements, and upgrades to the Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC). Additionally, there will be new car and cycle parking, improved access, and relocated bus stops and taxi ranks
